John C. Bazaz is an associate at Surovell Markle Isaacs & Levy PLC. Mr. Bazaz was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia and currently maintains his residence there. Mr. Bazaz graduated from Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2001 and was an amateur collegiate boxer.
Mr. Bazaz received his Juris Doctor degree from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America in 2005. During law school, Mr. Bazaz clerked with Martin Arif Petrovich & Walsh and was a member of the legal defense team for Lee Boyd Malvo (DC Sniper Case). Upon graduating, Mr. Bazaz worked for the Law Offices of Mark R. Dycio, P.C.
Mr. Bazaz has spent the majority of his life in Fairfax County, practicing exclusively in Northern Virginia where he has developed valuable friendships and contacts within the legal community. He is licensed to practice before all state courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Bazaz is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Bazaz has been certified by the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission as a court appointed counselor.
